  • Fixed some typos and clarified some wordings
  • Adjusted layout to decompress the document and leave room for future expansion
  • Added +1DP shooting bonus when firing down on a target from an elevated position
  • Clarified that Critical Hits cannot be downgraded to a regular Hit if only one Evade is available, and must be cancelled fully using two Evades
  • Added “Clutch” Command Point action to convert all Battle Stations results into Hit/Evade results during a combat roll
  • Added “Last Stand” Command Point action to allow a model about to be taken out of action to perform a single Shoot or Fight action before being removed
  • Changed “Undead” team trait effect to make all Recover actions automatically succeed, renamed “Relentless”
  • Renamed “Mutants” team trait to “Predators”
  • Added new Weapons, Equipment, and Psionic Abilities
    • [WPN] Large Powered Weapon: Re-roll all Blank results on CLOS rolls, +1 to Melee Target rolls
    • [WPN] Psionic Resonator: When attacking, roll using DIS instead of RNGD. Optional +1DP to DIS. If this bonus is used, rolling two or more 1s triggers a 4 RNGD hit back on the attacker
    • [EQP] Adrenal Stimulator: If this model ends a Move action within half a Range ruler of an enemy, it may move into base contact for free
    • [EQP] Holo-Emitter: Targets a point up to Range 1 away from the attacker, Blast AOE, blocks LOS until this model’s next activation
    • [EQP] Psionic Damper: No Psionic Ability actions can be made, or have an effect, within half a Range ruler of this model
    • [EQP] Site-to-Site Transport: Move this model 1d4+2 Range rulers (in a straight line) in any direction. This move can occur through blocking terrain, but may not end within terrain, obstacles, or other models.
    • [PSI] Restrain: Target 1 enemy model within LOS. Until the psionic activates again, the target’s Movement is reduced by -1 (or by -2 if the psionic’s DIS roll was ≥ double the target’s roll), to a minimum of 1
    • [PSI] Shroud: Target 1 friendly model within LOS. Until the psionic activates again, enemies cannot draw LOS to the target model unless within Range 1
    • [PSI] Sleep: Target 1 enemy model worth < 20 points within Range 1. That model becomes down and staggered
    • [PSI] Support: Until the end of the round, all friendly models within Range 1 of the psionic may re-roll all Blanks and 1s
  • Added rule to allow for stunning enemies with Phaser-type weapons
  • Added ability to take additional equipment (beyond the normal allowance) at increased points cost
  • Added rule that a model with the Medical Specialization can use a Medkit twice per game instead of only once
  • Removed mechanics for Enemy Alert Status, and Silent Takedowns to simplify gameplay
  • Updated Quick Deployment Table to require fewer enemy models
  • Updated Layout Randomizer to use 1d12 and a “clock face” method for determining object orientation, rather than cardinal directions
  • Added Geyser Field terrain feature

  • Removed Space Weirdos as a requirement and overhauled mechanics to use elements and components from the core Star Trek Alliance box
  • Added mechanics for Doors and Ladders
  • Added formula to quickly generate an enemy force without needing to calculate point values
  • Added mechanics for Field of View, Enemy Alert Status, and Silent Takedowns
  • Added mechanic to heal permanent injuries during campaign play at the cost of XP
  • Added experimental mechanic to determine how many rounds a narrative Mission lasts before it ends
